Meier-Brakenberg has been farming pigs for generations. Porky's Pick Up for fattening pigs and Porky's Pick Up XL for sows fundamentally revolutionise carcass transport. The dead animal is picked up without any physical strain or contact. With the self-propelled Porky ́s Pick Up, you go right up to the animal in the pen. With three electric pick-up rollers, the animal is pulled onto the vehicle at the push of a button. Transporker is light, small and is carried by hand directly to the carcass. Different types of animals need individual solutions. This is why we developed different designs and sizes for our mobile individual animal and group scales. All weighing machines are made for tough long-term use. Elaborated constructions made of light aluminium ensure best possible stability and mobility at the same time.

Our sow scales is a weighing machine for single animals in heavy duty design. The reinforced and enlarged weighing cage is designed for sows of up to 400 kg. Struts provide stability and safety. The animal cannot escape from the top. Additionally there is extra protection for the weighing display.

Furthermore the sow scales feature the same advantages as our other single animal weighing machines. It is easily maneuverable like a wheelbarrow. Only 70 cm total width makes it suitable for use even on narrow aisles.

NEW: Weighing display for fast weighing

The new weighing display facilitates the quick sorting of the pigs with the help of a traffic light display. The desired weight range can be individually programmed by the user and is displayed in green when weighing. Weights above and below the desired range are indicated by red and yellow.

Weights are stored and totaled if necessary and can be transferred to the computer via a standard USB interface.

The display is large and bright and also easy to read in the stable. An animal weighing program as well as an automatic rebalancing also facilitate the fast animal weighing. The power supply is via mains adapter or battery operation.
